At the resort, you’ll be treated to a delicious breakfast before setting off to explore Sonmarg, often referred to as the “Golden Meadow.” This picturesque destination is nestled in the Sindh Valley and adorned by nature with an array of beautiful flowers.
For those seeking real adventure, there’s the option to embark on a trek. You can also enjoy a pony ride up to the Thajiwas glacier and indulge in some thrilling sledging. The 8-day Kashmir itinerary offers all of these exciting experiences. After a day filled with memorable moments, it’s time to return to the hotel for a cozy night’s rest.

Doodhpathri, often referred to as the “Valley of Milk,” is situated 40 km from Srinagar. After a hearty breakfast, you will be escorted to Doodhpathri, a renowned tourist spot celebrated for its sheep grazing grounds and a stunning, cascading waterfall. Here, you can even dip your feet in the river and explore the heart of these picturesque valleys. Later in the day, you will return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

On the fourth day of your visit to Kashmir, you’ll have the opportunity to admire nature like never before. Gulmarg, often referred to as the “Meadow of Flowers,” will roll out a fragrant carpet of blossoms just for you. This day of your 8-day Kashmir itinerary will take you to the heart of the “kingdom of flowers.” Gulmarg is also home to some of the world’s best ski slopes and boasts the highest golf course with a whopping 18 holes.

On Day 5, we’ll venture to Pahalgam, where the abundance of saffron fields will captivate your senses and transport you to an otherworldly realm. Today’s itinerary includes a visit to the 1100-year-old Awantipur Ruins, where you can explore the historical heritage. A heartwarming drive through the pine forest offers a unique and unforgettable experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to make a brief visit to the Lidder stream. After these enriching experiences, you will return to the resort for a peaceful night’s stay.
The mountains are calling once more!
On the 6th day of the 8-day Kashmir itinerary, we’ll transfer you to another luxurious hotel in Srinagar where you can freshen up. From there, we’ll set out for Mount Sulaiman to visit the Shankaracharya Temple. A Shikara Ride on the Dal Lake is also part of today’s plan. Later, we’ll return to the resort in Srinagar, for a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

A delightful 2-hour journey to Yusmarg is truly unforgettable, and it’s the kind of experience that will make you want to return to Kashmir time and again. On the seventh day of the 8-day Kashmir itinerary, we include this excursion. The vast, green landscapes, grazing sheep, and the breathtaking view of the majestic, snow-capped mountains are sights that should never be missed. As you make your way back to Srinagar, followed by an overnight stay at the houseboat.
