Kerala, often referred to as “God’s Own Country,” is a beautiful state located in the southwestern part of India. It is renowned for its lush green landscapes, serene backwaters, pristine beaches, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant traditions. Creating a Kerala itinerary for 4 nights and 5 days will allow you to experience the diverse landscapes, cultural richness, and natural beauty of this southwestern state in India.

Itinerary

Day 1Cochin - Munnar (Tea Garden & Hill station)

Arrive in Cochin and proceed to Munnar, a captivating hill station that served as the summer capital for the British Government in India. The perpetual, extensive tea plantations and the consistently pleasant climate throughout the year render it an idyllic retreat for visitors. In the afternoon, explore Rajamala, home to the critically endangered Nilgiri Thars, a species of mountain goats. Enjoy a leisurely evening, followed by an overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 2Munnar

Following breakfast, proceed to Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam. Echo Point offers an enchanting experience, and at Mattupetty Dam, take advantage of the speed boating facilities. The dam is surrounded by lush forests on one side and expansive grasslands, complemented by the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon, culminating in an overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3Munnar – Thekkady (Wild life sanctuary & Spice plantation)

In the morning, journey to Thekkady, reaching by noon. Subsequently, head to Periyar Lake, the nucleus of the sanctuary, for a boat ride (additional cost). This sanctuary is distinctive as it provides a rare opportunity to observe wildlife up close, all from the secure confines of a boat. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 4Thekkady - Kumarakam/ Alleppey (Backwaters)

After breakfast in the morning, drive to Kumarakam/Alleppey. Check into the hotel around noon. In the afternoon, embark on an optional motor boat cruise (additional cost) lasting a few hours, traversing the renowned backwaters of Kerala. Overnight stay at Kumarakam/Alleppey.

Day 5Kumarakam/ Alleppey – Cochin

Morning after breakfast proceed to Cochin airport for onward journey

CANCELLATION POLICY

If You Cancel Your Holiday :

You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an email to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:

Cancellation charges per person

  • 30 days or more before departure: 25% of the total cost
  • 29-30 days before departure 50% of the total cost
  • Less than 19 days before departure 100% of the total cost

If We Change or Cancel Your Holiday :

We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.

If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather, Terror Acts, Unstable Govt. etc):

  • We shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already
  • If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged to you on a pro-rata basis depending on the portion of the tour utilized by
  • In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to refunding to you the price we charged as tou
