Upon your arrival in Goa, our agent’s representatives will warmly welcome you. They will then arrange for your transportation to Gokarna, giving you the option to rest during the journey or admire the scenic views along the way. Eventually, you will arrive in the town of Gokarna, which is in close proximity to the port city of Karwar. After checking into your hotel and settling in, the remainder of the day is at your leisure. Gokarna will serve as your base for this tour, renowned for its ancient temples and stunning beaches, providing the opportunity to explore both. The first day of this tour concludes with an overnight stay in Gokarna itself.

Following your morning breakfast, the tour commences in earnest, leading us to the banks of the Aghnashini River, specifically the Tadri Creek formed by its flow. Along these banks stands the majestic Mirjan Fort, which holds within its walls multiple deep wells. The fort also reveals traces of a grand darbar hall, secret passages, presumably for concealment or escape, and even a bustling marketplace. Within the fort’s courtyard, under a grand tree, you’ll discover shrines dedicated to various Hindu deities. Several ruins in the vicinity of the fort have been partially restored by the Archaeological Survey of India.

Returning to the town of Gokarna, we encounter the sacred Kotitirtha, meaning “a thousand springs.” This man-made water tank holds great reverence among the locals. The water is primarily used for ritual baths during certain festivals and for the immersion of idols. A notable feature of Kotitirtha is the Shivalinga situated in the center of the water on a platform, illuminated by a tall lamp during the nighttime. The day concludes with the mesmerizing sunset, and we then return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

On the third day of the tour, we begin with a satisfying breakfast before delving further into the attractions that Gokarna has to offer. Our journey starts with a visit to another temple, steeped in mythological tales that shed light on its origins.

Our exploration begins at Kudle Beach, then continues southward to Om Beach, followed by a trek to Half Moon Beach. Beyond Half Moon Beach, a scenic trek through the hills and forests leads us to Paradise Beach. Each of these beaches presents breathtaking vistas of the expansive seascape, and some offer recreational activities like canoeing, jet-skiing, or dolphin watching. As the day draws to a close, we return to your hotel in Gokarna, where you can retire for the night.

This day signifies the conclusion of our journey. Following a hearty breakfast, you’ll have some leisure time to explore and perhaps acquire a souvenir or two as keepsakes of the cherished memories created during the trip. Subsequently, we embark on the journey back to Goa, and from there, you’ll head back home.
