The vibrant and ceremonial elements of India are intricately woven along the banks of the Ganges (Ganga) River. Originating from the Himalayas and meandering eastward to eventually merge into the Bay of Bengal, this sacred river draws an immense number of pilgrims who come to take a simple dip or to scatter the ashes of their departed loved ones. The riverbanks are imbued with profound religious, cultural, and traditional significance. The Ganges Tour, spanning 8 days and 7 nights, encompasses the key destinations along the river and its tributaries.
